Kindergarten Round-up

Sam had kindergarten round-up this morning. She was nervous but did great. I worked from home so I got to enjoy breakfast with my beautiful baby girl. She had her favorite breakfast of strawberries & blueberries, a chocolate chip pancake with syrup an a little milk. I coached her on how drop off would work. I told her that she couldn't chase after me as I was leaving and that I was under instructions from the teacher to get her settled, say goodbye and LEAVE. The principal had stressed the leaving part.

Sam did great at drop off. She got settled at a table and started playing right away. I picked her up at 11:15. She said she had a really fun morning. They colored, sang and danced, read books and had a chocolate chip cookie and milk (she had to point out that she even got her own little carton of milk).

We went to JJ's for lunch, Sam climbed into a high top chair and told me that is were we should always sit when it is just her and I. We then went home and I worked as Sam played an watched Frozen.

After work we got out Sam's bike with training wheels on it and rode that pretty pink baby up and down the street a bazillon times. I love, love, love living on a culdesac.

Then we went to swimming lessons an she did awesome there as well. Whew, that was a busy day.

I snuck in a 3 mile run after the kids were in sleep and I ate entirely too many Red Vines then went to bed.
